(San Antonio 1/6/06 by Poundmaster from SBC Center) Too much Tony and too much Manu made the difference for the Spurs who overcame the Wolves tonight 83-77. The two giants, KG and Tim pretty offset each other in this bitter battle. And both teams scored an equal number of points in three of the four quarters.

Tony Parker led all scorers with 23 and in assists with 7. Manu Ginobili had 21 points for the Spurs. For the Wolves.
KG was the show tonight with 12 points in the first half, finishing with an 18/13 double-double. But he got his 5th foul in the 3rd quarter and sat out much of the 4th. Marco Jeric had 16 points and Wally Szczerbiak had 15.
The score was tied at 22-22 in the first quarter and 39-39 at halftime. The Spurs actually won the game outscoring the Timberwolves by 6 in the third quarter. The two teams then played even again in the fourth quarter, scoring 21 points each.
