Mark Madsen had 4 rebounds and 2 steals in 9 minutes play off the bench to spark play. before leaving with 6 fouls late in the game.
     (Minnesota 1/11/06 by Poundmaster) Kevin Garnett hit two clutch free throws from the line with 9.9 seconds remaining in the game to create two possession game. Then, some nice Hassell defense stopped the Bulls, Anthony Carter grabbed the rebound and sunk the two free throws to ice the game 99-93 as time ran out.
      Kevin Garnett had a near triple double with 28 points, 14 rebvounds and 9 assists. Wally Szerbiak continued his shooting with 25 points he added 9 rebounds himself. Tenton Hassell had a good game with 14 point, and Troy Hudson hit 12, including 2-3 from three-point land. Eddie Griffin contributed 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.
      Andre Nocioni had a Bulls-leading 23rd points. 
      Marko Jeric hit a nice reverse layup to put the Wolves up 78-71 with 7:30 left, the largest lead by either team for the night. Then, the Wolves increased the lead to 11, 86-75 with 4:54 to go on back to back KG plays, a 3-point play and a nice fall away jumper along the baseline.
     The Timberwolves led the Chicago Bulls 66-63 at the end of the 4th quarter. After a Chicago three tied the game early in the 4th quarter, Troy Hudsen hit two in a row, including a three to put the Wolves back up by five, 71-66.
     Mark Madsen's free throw put the Wolves back on top 62-61 with 2:30 to go in the 3rd quarter. Wally Szczerbiak's 3-pointer then put the Wolves up by their largest lead at 66-61.
     In the second and third quarters, tonight's game turned into a defensive battle, with the Wolves leading the Bulls 54-52 with 5:52 remaining in the game.
