Ricky Davis made up for a KG game ejection with his 35 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Banks had 13 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. Rashad McCants made a major contribution scoring 12 key points down the stretch.
"When KG left the game, it put more pressure on us to perform tonight," said Rashad McCants. "I think the up tempo game has helped us. Marcus and Ricky are more athletic, so we can mix up everything we do out there. Marcus Banks gave us a shot in the arm tonight."
Kevin Garnett lightly tossed the ball into the audience in the 3rd quarter, resulting in an automatic ejection under NBA guidelines. There was no speed on the ball and no intent.
