Heinrich leads Bulls to win over Wolves 111-100

     (Chicago 2/28/06 by Poundmaster) Despite two injuries tonight for Chicago, Kevin Heinrich led the Bulls to a 111-100 victory over the turnover-cursed Minnesota Timberwolves. Hinrich had 30 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists, and Marcus Banks who started for the second night in a row, had 18 points and a team-leading 7 assists.
     Chicago lost two players to injuries in the game, including Maik Allen who was taken to the hospital with a head injury and Chris Duhon witha bruised jaw in the second quarter.
     Kevin Garnett had 27 points and 12 rebound on 10 of 16 shooting in the losing cause. Rookie Rashadf McCants tied his season high with 18 points. Ricky Davis had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Mark Blount had 12 points. But the Wolves really lost the game on turnovers 16-9.
     Hassell and McCants blocked a Chicago shot out of bounds with 25.3 seconds to go in the game to keep the Wolves only 5 points down to the Bulls. But Andre Nicioni calmly hit back to back double free throw tries to ice the game for Chicago.
     With 2:30 left in the game, Marcus Banks pulled the Wolves within 8 points of the Bulls on a three pointer, followed by a Banks two pointer at 103-96. Garnett then hit a three, to put the Wolves down 7 105-98.
