(MN 4/7/2006 by Poundmaster) The Minnesota Timberwolves entered a new phase Friday night, i.e. preparing the newbies for next season. And so it was that KG was not in the game during the crucial fourth quarter this time.
The Wolves could not muster enough threes and boards, and had a few more turnovers than the Utah Jazz as they dropped a home game 103-95. the newbies tried but could not muster enough during the final minutes. Justin Reed and Rashad McCants tried to come to the rescue, but the Jazz handled KG (14/13) tonight. Reed had 17 and McCantw 16 on the night.
The Timberwolves were only down by four points going into the last quarter, but that lead was elusive as Carlos Boozer took charge for the Jazz with 30 points.
